Friday Pix: Recommended Reading For The Weekend

Every Friday I point you towards some recommended reading around the blogosphere:

1. Here’s a fabulous video over on the Boston Globe’s Brainiac blog of Christopher Hitchens and assorted others debating the afterlife. Very funny.

2. Also worth viewing is Stephen Colbert’s commencement speech at Northwestern on Gawker.

3. On a more serious note, Paul Krugman tells us about five books that inspired him to be a liberal economist at The Browser.

4. For my money, the best piece I’ve seen on the whole Go The F**k to Sleep love-in was written by Amy Sohn at Babble.com.

5. I really liked my friend Naomi J. Williams’ take on how a bicycle journey to the farmer’s market caused her to re-assess her whole life.

6. Finally, in the Department of WTF?, the website, Literally Unbelievable, examines Facebook posts by people who took the Onion seriously.

Have a great weekend!
