1. As always, Roger Ebert just blows me away with his blog posts. Here’s one on loneliness, the internet, and marriage.
2. Now that the midterm elections are over in the U.S., here’s a terrific piece in the Baltimore Sun about what American voters all want now.
3. A few weeks back, I posted on Nora Ephron’s new divorce “vertical” at the Huffington Post. This is Ephron’s debut piece for that section, which, true to form, gets right to the heart of what it means to be divorced.
4. Journalists and bloggers will particularly enjoy this smart take by Mark Ambinder on the difference between blogging and journalism at the Atlantic.
5. Love, love, love this social media blog I’ve come across (via The Urban Muse) called Marian Librarian. Have a look at Marian Schembari’s post on what a day in the life of a social media consultant actually looks like. (And yes, I *have* always wondered that.) I’m also particularly taken with the name of her blog. To find out why, click here.
6. If you haven’t yet seen it, this essay by the late Tony Judt in the New York Times about why he loved New York City is simply brilliant. R.I.P. Tony Judt.

I particularly enjoyed the piece from Ebert. And found myself nodding as I was reading the article in the Atlantic on the differences between blogging and journalism.
